ITINERARY:
Day 1: ARRIVAL DELHI:
On arrival at Delhi, meet & assist and transfer to the hotel. Perhaps there is no other capital city in the world so steeped in history and legend as the Indian capital Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2: DELHI:
After breakfast proceed for full day combined city tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit to Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. The tour to New Delhi will include a drive past of India Gate, the Parliament House, the Secretariat buildings. Later visit Qutab Minar which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and Humayun’s Tomb the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 3: DELHI – AGRA:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Agra. On arrival transfer to the hotel, later proceed to visit Taj Mahal (Friday closed), the world’s greatest monument and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Later visit Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Overnight in Agra.
DAY 04: AGRA – JAIPUR: After breakfast check out from your hotel and drive to Jaipur- enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a deserted city built by Emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son. Arrival at Jaipur and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 5: JAIPUR: Morning proceeds for excursion of Amber Fort by elephant/jeep ride. Later half-day tour of the pink city of India, including the City Palace, which now houses a museum, the Observatory (17th century) with a sundial of 90 ft high and the Palace of Winds-“Hawa Mahal”. Overnight in Jaipur
Day 6: JAIPUR – BIKANER:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Bikaner. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later proceed for city tour of Bikaner visit Junagarh fort and National camel breeding farm. Overnight in Bikaner.
Day 7: BIKANER – JAISALMER:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 8: JAISALMER:
After breakfast proceed for city tour of Jaisalmer. Enjoy Tonga ride up to the Fort, which dominates the town. Built in 1156, it is one of the oldest forts in Rajasthan. Walk around this desert city, its fort emerging from the flat dry sands, bounding in ancient palaces, temples and delicately sculpted havelis – all witness to the emergence of this Rajput state into a market centre for trader. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 9: JAISALMER – JODHPUR:
After breakfast check out from your hotel and drive to Jodhpur. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later proceed for Hald day city tour of Jodhpur, visit Mehrangarh Fort & Jaswant Thada. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 10: JODHPUR – UDAIPUR:
After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Udaipur Via Ranakpur. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 11: UDAIPUR:
After breakfast proceed for city tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, old Market of Udaipur, later proceed for boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 12: DEPART UDAIPUR:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Udaipur airport for flight to onward destination via Delhi.
