Can Mauritian Nationals travel to the UK? Yes. For countries listed in Amber or Green Zone
Mauritius is now categorized as countries on the Amber list.
Except Those who have travelled to or transited through countries on the Red List such as Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, Egypt, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Georgia, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Mayotte, Mexico, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Reunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia or Zimbabwe in the last 10 days are not permitted to enter.

Will I need a PCR test? Yes
All travelers entering the UK must present a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of arrival.

Will I need to be vaccinated to travel there? Yes
The COVID-19 vaccines currently approved for use in the UK are:
2 doses of Moderna
2 doses of Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine
2 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine
1 dose of Janssen vaccine
( 2 doses vaccines should be of the same type, mixed vaccines are not allowed, otherwise self isolation required)
Will I have to undergo a quarantine or isolation?
Travelers who arrive from or stayed in “red list” countries must undergo hotel quarantine at a designated facility for 10 days.
Will I need a Visa?
Only required for stays over 6 months
